Four options are available for undergraduate architectural engineering students to specialize in during the last two years of their five year undergraduate degree program. Students can choose from the Construction option, the Lighting/Electrical option, the Mechanical option, and the Structural option.

• The Construction option emphasizes building construction engineering and construction management
• The Lighting/Electrical option emphasizes the design of lighting and electrical systems for buildings
• The Mechanical option emphasizes the design of heating, ventilating, and air conditioning systems in buildings
• The Structural option emphasizes the analysis and design of structural systems for buildings
