The History of Beaver Stadium:

Dr. Harry West, Professor Emeritus in the Civil Engineering Department, will give a presentation which will trace where Penn State football has been played from the first home game on the lawn of Old Main in 1887 to the present time. Dr. West will describe the sequential development of the first Beaver Field, New Beaver Field, and the present Beaver Stadium through a series of rich photographs and supporting information showing the evolution from a wooden grandstand and bleacher arrangement, with a combined capacity of 500, to the sophisticated stadium of today, which is one of the largest college stadiums in the country.

Food and Drink will be provided after the meeting. Bring a dollar to support THON!

When: Tuesday November 17th at 6:30 PM
