The office of the Associate Dean of Administration and Planning is responsible for the following
groups: Budget and Finance, Human Resources, Space and Facilities, Electronic and Computer Services,
and Information Systems. Each of these offices has an administrative manager who reports to the Associate Dean
for Administration and Planning.
The mission of the office of the Associate Dean for Administration and Planning is to provide
administrative support to the departments, programs and other units of the College of Engineering in
the areas of budget and finance, human resources, space and facilities, computer infrastructure and
networking, electronic design and strategic planning. In so doing, the office is responsible for
providing liaison with University-wide offices and insuring compliance with University policies and
procedures in each of these areas.
It is envisioned that this office will provide the administrative services and support necessary for
the College to achieve its goal of being one of the nation's ten best Engineering colleges; to conduct
business in a manner that creates a positive and supportive climate for all faculty, staff and students;
and to seek continuous improvement in this support.
