The primary mission of Electronic and Computer Services (ECS) is to provide service and support to the
College in the areas of education, research and administration. In order to effectively carry out this
mission, ECS is divided into two overlapping functional components, Electronic Design and Communications and
Computing. The Electronic Design group provides expertise and support in the hardware/software
design and prototyping of electronics systems, fosters faculty/student participation and provides
network accessible resources for education and research advancement. The Communications and Computing
group provides a reliable networking infrastructure, evaluates new technologies, and provides administrative
computing support and training for faculty, staff, and student users of the network.
