The associate dean for academic programs is responsible for recruiting and retention, undergraduate scholarships, curriculum development and approvals, instructional services, enhancement of teaching and learning, assessment processes, and a variety of student services. The key components of the undergraduate support structure include International Programs, Student Services (Engineering Advising Center, Engineering Career Resources & Employer Relations, Multicultural Engineering Program, and Women in Engineering Program), First-Year Seminar Program, Engineering Instructional Services, Leonhard Center for Enhancement of Engineering Education, and College-operated student project and instructional technology centers (The Learning Factory and the Center for Engineering Design and Entrepreneurship).
