Current Local Address & E-mail Address

Each student is responsible for ensuring that the University has a record of his or her correct and current address, both local and permanent. Important forms and information are sent to the student's local address during the academic year. Lack of a timely response from a student because of incorrect mailing address or no local address does not constitute a reason for exception of policy and rules.

Changes and corrections can be made with the Office of the University Registrar at each location and on eLion. At University Park, students may also come into the Engineering Advising Center or go to their major department to make any needed corrections.

Students are also responsible for activating the e-mail address they receive from Penn State and for checking it regularly. Newsletters, student actions notifications, and other important information will be distributed to College of Engineering students via e-mail. Students will be held responsible for all information sent by e-mail.
