Business and Industry

Classroom Involvement

Employers can work closely with Penn State students at all levels, providing challenging problems for hands-on solutions or through classroom presentations. Recruiting and Diversity

The College of Engineering produces some of the best engineering graduates in the world. Several units specialize in helping prospective employers develop recruiting relationships with our undergraduate and graduate students, for both full-time positions and co-op/internship opportunities. Employers can work with engineering departments, programs, and student organizations throughout the College to identify and network with a diverse group of students early and often. Continuing Education

Every year, the College of Engineering delivers of hundreds of programs to thousands of learners throughout Pennsylvania and the United States. Programs are delivered at University Park, at Penn State campuses throughout the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, to work sites, and, in the case of distance education courses, to people’s homes and offices. Office of Technology Management

The Office of Technology Management (OTM) focuses on fostering an ecosystem for technology innovation and translation. OTM is responsible not just for the successful marketing of Penn State intellectual property and vigorous licensing to corporations and to start-up companies, but also for assisting faculty interested in doing more market-relevant research.
