COOPERATIVE EDUCATION
Penn State has one of the top five largest optional co-op programs in the nation. More than 600 students
complete more than 800 work assignments each year in 300 companies in 32 states and six foreign countries. Go to

CAREER FAIRS
For recruiting engineering students, we recommend that employers consider attending one or more of the following
career rairs at Penn State:
- Spring Engineering Career Fair is
jointly sponsored by the Cooperative Education & Professional Internship Program and the Society for

- Architectural Engineering Career Fair is held in November.
- Civil Engineering Career Fair is sponsored by the Penn State student chapter

- Fall Career
Days are held in September. This is the largest university-run career fair in the nation,
with opportunities available to students in most majors across the University. Don't miss it!
- Spring
Career Days are held in February or March. Companies catering to both technical and
non-technical majors are represented at this event
