The Barry M. Goldwater Scholarship is a distinguished undergraduate scholarship initiative that provides up to $7500 a year for college sophomores and juniors in the natural sciences, mathematics, and engineering. This highly prestigious and competitive award is granted to up to 300 students nationwide. Established by Congress in 1986 to honor former US Senator Goldwater, its goal is to provide a continuing source of highly qualified professionals in their respective fields. You could receive undergraduate studies funding of up to $7500 for up to two years.


* You must be a current sophomore or junior and intend to pursue a career in mathematics, the natural sciences, or engineering

* In order to be considered for an award, students must be nominated by their institution.
