CH2M Hill Engineers without Borders-USA Scholarship

The firm is the founding sponsor of Engineers Without Borders-USA (EWB-USA), and is proud to offer academic scholarships to Engineers Without Borders-USA student chapter members.

EWB-USA helps create a more stable and prosperous world by addressing people's basic human needs by providing necessities such as clean water, power, sanitation, and education. EWB-USA has more than 350 projects in over 45 developing countries around the world including water, renewable energy, sanitation, and more.

The recipients are selected for their dedication to academic excellence, ability to apply technical skills to make a meaningful difference, strong leadership abilities, and dedication to Engineers Without Borders-USA.


1. Enrolled in a four-year accredited engineering program and continuing the next academic year.
2. Completed at least three academic semesters
3. Active, registered member of Engineers without Borders-USA through your university chapter.
4. Minimum GPA of 3.0

Terms of Award:

Each $5,000 scholarship may be applied toward academic expenses (tuition, books, or fees) or toward the Engineers Without Borders USA project expenses (travel, materials, supplies, or conference attendance).

Scholarships will be announced and awarded in March 2013. Submission of a completed application does not create any right to a scholarship award.
