Polymathic Studies in the College of Engineering
Minor in LA or AA
The purpose of this scholarship is to provide recognition and financial assistance to outstanding undergraduate students who are interested in a diverse education by pursuing additional courses other than foreign Languages in the College of Liberal Arts OR courses other than Architecture in the College of Arts and Architecture.
CONSIDERATION FOR THIS SCHOLARSHIP:
--undergraduate students of at least sophomore academic standing
--full-time enrollment status in the College of Engineering at the University Park campus
--maintain outstanding academic success with a minimum 3.0 cumGPA
--provide financial information by annually providing FAFSA information to the Office of Student Aid
--pursue a minor in Liberal Arts (other than foreign languages) or Arts and Architecture (except for architecture) or
--pursue a diverse combination of at least 18 course credits in Liberal Arts (except foreign languages) or Arts and Architecture (except architecture) above those required to satisfy the requirements of the Engineering Degree.
Terms of Award:
A non-renewable scholarship for one (1) academic year. The total value of this undergraduate student award shall not exceed the cost of in-state tuition. The recipient will be notified no later than November 24 of the award year
