Penn State's Engineering Technology Program, administered by the School of Engineering
Design, Technology & Professional Programs (SEDTAPP),
is one of the largest in the country, offering a five baccalaureate degrees and nine associate degrees at 12
locations in Pennsylvania.
Courses in engineering technology at Penn State are small, personal, and taught by engineering faculty who
have a minimum of three years of industry experience. This learning environment stresses interaction and
hands-on applications. Campus environments range from urban to rural and offer a variety of activities and services.
Faculty members work closely with local and regional employers to give students the real-world knowledge and
skills to perform effectively in a rapidly changing and highly technical workplace.
