Baccalaureate Degree Programs in Engineering Technology
Penn State offers five baccalaureate degrees in engineering technology:
- Electrical and Computer Engineering Technology
- Electro-mechanical Engineering Technology
- Mechanical Engineering Technology
- Plastics Engineering Technology
- Structural Design and Construction Engineering Technology
A baccaulaureate degree in engineering technology is similar to other four-year engineering programs. In addition to the technical courses required for your major, you will also take general education courses that will enhance your non-technical skills and knowledge. General education courses will help you explore and improve skills that you may not realize you possess.
All students planning to pursue a degree in an engineering technology program should understand that their studies will take place at campus locations other than University Park.
