• Built around the Factory for Advanced Manufacturing Education (FAME).

• In a two semester course sequence, student teams design a product, design & implement manufacturing processes, and manage production.

• Relevant portions of the projects are being integrated into other junior and senior level core courses.

• Courses scaled up to 44 students (include IE, ME, EE and business students).

• Business students are working on business plans for the products designed by the engineering students.

• "Publicity" (Extensive coverage in business section of local paper and one of featured innovations at Teaching and Learning Colloquy).
