Mark opened the meeting at 5:00pm.

Topic 1. Finalizing the place/time for the FA02 meeting

It was suggested to have the SPSEE meeting coincide with the PSES meeting.
However, this idea was rejected because it was too soon.
It was finally decided to hold the next meeting on Friday October 18 (Homecoming weekend).

The committee discussed possible guest speaker topics for the next
SPSEE meeting (and future meetings):
