SWE Stayover 2017 will be held March 26th-27th. Registration is due February 13th.

Welcome to the Penn State family, and congratulations on being accepted into the engineering program! SWE Stayover is a two-day program that will introduce you to life as a Penn State Women Engineer. Stayover Participant will meet other prospective students, current Penn State women engineers, and representatives from our sponsors. The participants will also engage in various teambuilding activities and get acquainted with Penn State Engineering and SWE. The SWE Stayover is a great opportunity to meet possible classmates and learn what engineering really is.

Prospective Students will not be permitted to stay overnight in the dorm rooms. Instead, the students must be released to a Parent/Guardian at the conclusion of Sunday evening’s activities, and remain under their supervision overnight. Students will then check back into the event with their Parent/Guardian on Monday morning. There are no exceptions: A Parent/Guardian must be present!

Similar to years past, each Prospective Student will be paired with a SWE member who will serve as their guide and mentor throughout the event. We do our best to match each Prospective Student with a SWE member who is majoring in the area of study that the Prospective Student is interested in. Students will also have the opportunity to get to know other SWE members as well as the other Prospective Students attending the event.

If you are interested in signing up for the Penn State Society of Women Engineering Stayover 2017, please fill out the form here. If you have any questions, you may contact us at swestayover@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!
