SWE Stayover 2018 will be held March 25th-26th. Registration is due February 12th.

Congratulations on being accepted into the Penn State College of Engineering! The Society of Women Engineers Stayover is a two-day program that will introduce participants to life as a women engineer at Penn State. Stayover participants will meet other prospective students, current Penn State women engineers, and representatives from our industry sponsors. Participants will also engage in various team-building activities to get acquainted with Penn State Engineering and SWE. The SWE Stayover is a great opportunity to meet possible classmates, explore majors, and learn about what engineering really is.

Prospective Students will not be permitted to stay overnight in the dorm rooms. Instead, the students must be released to a Parent/Guardian at the conclusion of Sunday evening’s activities, and remain under their supervision overnight through hotel or other accommodations. Students will then check back into the event with their Parent/Guardian on Monday morning. There are no exceptions: A Parent/Guardian must be present!

Similar to years past, each Prospective Student will be paired with a SWE member who will serve as their guide and mentor throughout the event. We do our best to match each Prospective Student with a SWE member who is majoring in the area of study that the Prospective Student is interested in. Students will also have the opportunity to get to know other SWE members as well as the other Prospective Students attending the event.

If you are interested in signing up for the Penn State Society of Women Engineering Stayover 2018, please fill out the form here. If you have any questions, you may contact us at swestayover@gmail.com. We hope to see you there!
