CALL FOR PAPERS
The Department of Architectural Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University is pleased to present the 6th International Conference on Innovation in Architecture, Engineering and Construction (AEC) on June 9-11, 2010.
The Planning Committee invites you to submit a 500-word abstract.
Key Submission and Notification Dates
- Abstract submissions: September 1, 2009. (500-word)
- Abstract acceptance: September 15, 2009.
- Full paper submission: November 30, 2009.
(All paper submissions will be peer reviewed)
- Paper Review Decisions: January 15, 2010
- Final Papers due: February 15, 2010.
(Conference Proceedings to be published on CD-ROM)
- Early Registration Deadline: March 31, 2010.
Note: Papers for which no registration has been received by this date will be withdrawn from the conference.
Submission Instructions
Abstract Submittal
Abstracts for special session topics (listed below) should be submitted directly to the special session coordinator. All other paper abstract submissions will be accepted by e-mail to (Innov-AEC@engr.psu.edu). Please submit your abstract in one of the following formats: Word, Text, RTF, or PDF. When submitting please be sure to designate the technical area to which your paper correlates (see list below). Abstracts should be no longer than 500 words.
The cover letter should mention whether the paper presentation is anticipated to have any special audiovisual requirements other than computer/data projector (Powerpoint). The 6th International AEC-INNOV Planning Committee will not consider for presentation or publication any paper that has been published or is currently under consideration for publication elsewhere.
Technical Content and Scope
The scope of the conference is wide, covering all aspects of the AEC (architecture, engineering and construction) sector. Papers are invited from both industry practitioners and researchers on the following and related topics.

Formatting instructions for final papers
For the final version of the papers, the formatting information in the word-template must be used. The maximum length for the paper is STRICTLY 10 pages. This includes all figures, tables, and references.
Submission information and files
All papers should be submitted via the Easy Chair AEC-2010 website located at http://www.easychair.org/conferences/?conf=aec2010 Please submit the paper in either MS Word or PDF format.
If you have difficulties, please send your paper via email to Innov-AEC@engr.psu.edu.
If the files are too large to be sent by email, please put them on a CD or USB-stick and mail it to the address below.

Copyright Transfer Agreement
The corresponding author for each paper should complete the Copyright Agreement which is posted in MS Word format at and return it the conference organizers via fax or email. (Only one author signature is necessary).
Presentation Guidelines:
For conference presentations, a computer and data projector will be available for use by conference presenters. All technical paper presentations should be 15 minutes in length with a 5 minute question and answer session following each presentation.
