Christine Brazill is a Principal and founder of Aspire Engineering in Fairfax, Virginia. As an electrical engineer Christine's capabilities include design and analysis of power distribution, lighting systems, and fire alarm systems for projects ranging from tenant improvements to large commercial construction. As a principal Christine is responsible for management of Aspire operations, business development, and project management. Some of Christine’s projects include charter and private schools, churches, government executive buildings and operations centers, new commercial buildings, multifamily housing, and even a distillery.
Christine received her integrated Bachelor and Master of Architectural Engineering degrees from Penn State University in 2004, with concentration in the lighting/electrical option. Christine is a LEED Accredited Professional (LEED AP), Lighting Certified (LC), and a licensed Professional Engineer (PE).
In addition to Christine's consulting work, she serves on the board for the Illuminating Engineering Society (IES) DC Section helping plan lighting education and outreach. She has maintained involvement in Alpha Rho Chi, the professional architecture fraternity where she has held several national alumni positions and is currently a board member for her alumni association. She has previously taught lighting courses to interior design students at the Art Institute of Washington. In recognition of her career and professional outreach, Christine was named a Young Professional of the Year by the American Council of Engineering Companies (ACEC).
