Rob graduated from Penn State University with BAE in May 1997. While at Penn State, Rob was involved with SSAE, Student IES Chapter and AE Open House committee.

He began his career with Affiliated Engineers Inc. working there for 7 years in Seattle, WA. His responsibilities started in IT and lighting designer and then eventually grew to power distribution and project management. In 2004, Rob moved back east and started working for WSP Flack + Kurtz. During the next 5 years, he worked as a project engineer in the NYC office and project manager/group manager in the Las Vegas Office. In November of 2009, Rob moved to Buffalo NY to become the electrical group manager , project manager, and involved in marketing for M/E Engineering P.C.

Throughout his 15-year career, Rob has been responsible for the engineering design of the electrical facility systems including service coordination, power distribution, lighting systems & controls, fire alarm systems, nurse call systems, technology, communication systems and security systems. As the project manager, lead electrical engineer and group/department manager, Rob is responsible for QA/QC review, design directives, project meetings, client interaction, marketing, education and code compliance.

Rob has been involved in a wide variety of projects types and sizes, ranging from academia to hospitality & gaming to research & development to corporate offices to institutional buildings to hospitals to commercial residences. Some of the projects Rob has worked on include: MGM CityCenter, ECMC OR Expansion, ECMC Hemodialysis Center, ECMC Long Term Care Building, Oxford Casino, University of Buffalo Football Stadium Lighting, Sullivan Square Condominiums, Seneca Niagara Casino, and Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center.
