Canuso Jorden

William R. Long is a Principal and Vice President with Canuso Jorden, a general contracting/construction management firm based in suburban Philadelphia. A registered Professional Engineer, LEED Accredited Professional, and Certified Professional Services Marketer with thirty years of experience in the construction industry, Bill possesses a Bachelor of Architectural Engineering degree from Penn State University and an MBA degree from Villanova University.

Bill has presented at local, regional, and national functions for the American Institute of Architects (AIA), the Associated General Contractors of America (AGC), the Construction Specifications Institute (CSI), the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA), the Construction Management Association of America (CMAA), the Construction Marketing Research Council, the Society for Design Administration (SDA), the International Society of Pharmaceutical Engineers (ISPE), and the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS).

He has also been a guest lecturer at Penn State University, Virginia Tech, and Drexel University and has been a juror for the Architectural Engineering Thesis Program at Penn State.

Bill has authored numerous articles and columns for various building industry publications including A/E Rainmaker, The Marketer, Principals Report, and New York Construction. In addition, he has been quoted or profiled in Building Design + Construction, Principals Report, The ZweigLetter, Mid-Atlantic Construction, New York Construction, and MarketingNow.

Bill is a Fellow in the Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS) and is the President-elect of the SMPS Foundation Board of Trustees. Bill is also a member of the Board of Directors for Penn State’s Alumni Society of Architectural Engineers.
