Dr. Poerschke has taught architectural design, construction, and environmentally responsible architecture at the Technical Universities of Berlin and Munich (1999-2005), and at Penn State since 2006. One focus of her teaching is the meaningful and aesthetic integration of technical systems (e.g., lighting, acoustics, and energy) into the architectural design supported by the use of environment simulation applications during all phases of the design process.
