6th-semester standing in Architectural Engineering

Course Objectives

This course provides an overview of the construction industry. The course is organized into three main sections. Section one discusses the construction industry, lifecycle of construction projects and roles of the various project participants. The second section focuses on engineering economics as it relates to practical construction industry problems. The final portion of the course focuses on construction project management issues including estimating, scheduling and project controls.
