Classical methods of analysis for beams, frames, arches, and secondary stresses as applied to buildings; introduction to modern methods.

Course Objectives

This course is designed to continue the analytical base developed in AE 308. It is a course in the classical methods of indeterminate structural analysis, which is intended to give the students an understanding of indeterminate structures and an ability to apply the classical methods to a variety of problems.
