Description

Central cooling plant and distribution components and systems; thermal, hydraulic, and economic modeling for planning and design.

Prerequisite(s)

AE 454 or both ME 411 and ME 412.

Course Objectives

Graduate and advanced senior students in the Building Mechanical and Energy Systems area require a thorough understanding of primary systems as part of a well-rounded preparation for careers in engineering practice. This course will also provide necessary background for graduate students preparing to conduct research on primary systems.
