Description

This course will cover the description and analysis of central heating plant and distribution compenents and systems. It will also cover thermal and economic modeling for planning and design.

Prerequisite(s)

AE 454 or both ME 411 and ME 412.

Course Objectives
  1. Thorough understanding of heating and cogeneration system types, their components, and their performance characteristics
  2. Understanding of system design parameters and current practices
  3. Competence in methods of analysis to support system planning and design.
