Description

This course will study the theory and practice associated with the optical design of reflectors and refractors for use in architectural lighting equipment.

Prerequisite(s)

AE 464 (or concurrent)

Course Objectives

Students will gain understanding and experience with the issues, methods and techniques for developming optical designs for lighting hardware, and for manufacturing lighting hardware.
