Petitions for sede di Roma credits
In order to minimize the nuisance of the petition process for the Rome 06
students and advisors, this Advising Notes will inform the students of the
necessary paper work.


1. Architecture Studies Minor: Students should apply for the minor at the
Architecture Department. While it is advisable to submit the application
immediately, the students must complete all the course requirements prior
to application. The application deadline is the last day of classes in their
last semester. Last minute application is discouraged.

2. Architecture Studio petition (yellow form): ARCH499A taken in Rome may
replace either ARCH441 or ARCH442 in the fourth year. Students missing
credits for one semester of second year studio may use ARCH499A to
cover one semester of ARCH130A.


3. Department Elective petition (yellow form): AE497 (2 credits), taught by
Dr. Tom Boothby in 2007 and Dr. Dan Linzell (CE) 2006 and 2008, may
be used to satisfy department elective requirements. Please note that
these credit will not apply to the structural MAE program at all.


4. General Education petition: Two courses can be applied to the 18 AHS
requirements.

�� Petition for 9-6-3 is necessary.
