Outstanding Engineering Alumni Honored
Russell HeikenEleven top engineers were honored on Monday, April 21, at the 2008 Outstanding Engineering Alumni Awards at the University Park campus. In addition to receiving their honors, the award recipients met with faculty and spoke with students during their visits to campus. The annual Outstanding Engineering Alumni Award is the highest honor conferred by the College of Engineering and recognizes graduates who have reached exceptional levels of professional achievements.

The architectural engineering department is pleased to announce that the 2008 recipient for architectural engineering was Russell Heiken of Apopka, Fla., executive vice president of X-nth, Inc.

Heiken attended Penn State and graduated from the architectural engineering department with a bachelor’s degree in 1981.
