Dave Arnsdorf, ’74, President of Alaska Manufacturing Association, a partially government-funded organization that assists small manufacturers in Alaska. . .Todd See, P.E., ’91, promoted to Senior Associate of Flack + Kurtz, Inc., his projects include the Sciences and Engineering Quadrange at Stanford University, Pixar Animation Studios, and the 835 Market Street Entertainment Complex...Ari Tinkoff, P.E., ’95, wed Deborah Schmelzle, ’96, at the Nittany Lion Inn on August 27, 2000. Best man was Walter (Buddy) Brennan, P.E., ’95.  Ari is a project manager for Vanderweil Engineers in Orlando, FL, working mainly on healthcare, research labs, and hotel projects, and his home is open to all who want to visit. . .J. Christopher Larry, ’86, Senior Energy Engineer for Siemens Building Technology, is Regional Vice Chairman, Region III, ASHRAE, Sec., Association of Energy Engineers, won “Energy Engineer of the Year 2000” from AEE, won 5 design awards in 1998-99, and 1996 Energy User News “Efficient Building Award.” Married to Melissa Jones, ’86, and has two children, Stephanie (10) and Trevor (7). . .David Galson, ’82, Vice President, Ecologic Systems. . .Len Moser, ’90, Project Manager, Barton Malow Company, moved from Atlanta to State College in 1999 to work on the Beaver Stadium expansion, daughter Melina Claire (2). . .Christine Sciulli, ’90, is self-employed and operates Christine Sciulli Light + Design, and is celebrating her 1-1/2 year anniversary with husband Carter Burwell. . .Thomas Minnick, ’88, Lighting Consultant, Sylvan R. Shemitz Associates, married Patricia DiMaggio on September 16, 2000. . . Allan Smolko, P.E., ’86, joined the City of Phoenix Aviation Department as a Civil Engineer III/Project Manager, responsible for the design and construction of all the CIP’s projects at Phoenix’s three airports.  He’s been married ten years to his wife, Patti, and their son, Ryan, will be 5 in April; his hobby for the last year was to construct a 420-square-foot two-story play structure…Jeffrey Linde, P.E., ’90, named an Associate Partner with Newcomb & Boyd, Atlanta, GA…Elizabeth First ’96 and Joseph Echno ’99 donated their time and talents to support a worthy cause.  Entries to the nationwide competition entitled “Canstruction” use canned food to create fanciful structures.  All of the food was subsequently donated to local food banks.  In New York, the entry designed by the pair entitled “Santa Cans” won the best meal award in the eight annual event. Elizabeth and Joseph are employed as Architectural Engineers by Weiskopf & Pickworth, LLP in New York… John M. Thorsen,’86 is Director of Training at Warfel Construction Company, Lancaster, PA.  He is also a Senior Project Manager overseeing multiple projects as the company continues to grow.  Warfel employed three interns (PSU AE 4th year) during the summer of 2000 for the first time, overseen by John.  They were Josh Gibson, Laura Reddig and Cory Lovrak...Dave Meuschke ’81 Vice President of Construction Operations, Burchick Construction Company, Pittsburgh, PA.  Oversees multiple projects including work for AT&T, UPMC Hospital work, and a $50 million multi-purpose academic complex for University of Pittsburgh…William (Billy) Hodges, ’95, Starting February 20th, I will be working with Prudential Lighting, Los Angeles, CA and Denise and I will be living in a new larger apartment to accommodate the baby we are expecting on April Fool's Day 2001...
