FAREWELL
We would like to extend our sincerest thanks to Mr. Bennett Levin, P.E. who served as an Adjunct Professor of Architectural Engineering during the fall 2000 semester.  He commuted weekly from his home in Washington Crossing, Pennsylvania to the University Park campus after generously volunteering to teach AE 467 - Advanced Building Electrical Systems Design and serve as a consultant to AE fifth-year students on electrical engineering aspects of their senior thesis projects.  Levin is a two-time graduate of Penn State, having earned degrees from both the College of Liberal Arts (’61) and the College of Engineering (IE ’65).  As a professional engineer, engineering consultant, and businessman, he brought a wealth of knowledge and real-life experience to the classroom.  His unique perspectives were very well received by his AE students.  We are extremely grateful for his friendship and his personal commitment of time and resources on behalf of the AE program.

Dr. Craig Bernecker resigned his tenured position as Associate Professor of Architectural Engineering in November 2000 to continue his role as Executive Director of the Albright-Berks Partnership in Reading, Pennsylvania.  We wish Craig the best of luck in all of his future endeavors.
