Karl Peterman, ’94, I married Amy Boston in August 1994. Since then we've lived in Atlanta where we had two kids (Laura, now 5, and David, now 3). About four months ago we made a big move...we are now in the greater Toronto area in Canada. I have taken an executive position as Manager of Research and Development with Vibro-Acoustics, a manufacturing company of noise control products for the HVAC industry… Joseph McMonagle, ’82, from 1983 through 1995, I was in the seminary/priesthood. In October 1995, I left the priesthood and joined a CAD software company as a Technical Writer. For the last two years I have been a Senior Technical Writer at a telephony software company… Tom Forsberg, ’92, currently working as a senior structural engineer with Ryan-Biggs Associates and managing their West Chester, PA, branch office. I was married on September 6, 2002, to Amy Adams. The ceremony took place at sunset on the beach in Ocean City, MD…Christine Sciulli, ’90, and husband Carter Burwell are excited to announce the birth of our first child, Tycho Che Tarquinio Burwell-born on tax day, 2002!…Katie Heisey, ’00, I moved from Baltimore to Charlotte and I’m now working for Little Diversified Architectural Consulting (an AE firm). It’s a lot different than working for a consulting firm, but things are going well so far. California University of Pennsylvania (MAT 2002). I started at Upper Saint Clair High School in Fall 2002, teaching Honors Physics and Earth/Space Science….Alfred R. Mangus, ’76, currently a Transportation Engineer, Civil Structures, (bridges and buildings), with the California Department of Transportation. Responsible for laying out a new ceiling system for the Posey Tube and Webster Tube in Oakland. (a tube is a precast concrete segmental structure that becomes a tunnel)…Billy Hodges, ’95 and wife Denise welcome their new daughter Rose, born December 15, 2002. She joins big sister Grace (20 months old)…Stephen Oskin, ’01, currently an architectural engineer for Advanced Technologies Inc. in Houston, TX. Recently announced his engagement to Bikem Endaz, ’98 Journalism. A May 31, 2003, wedding is planned…John Kurtz, ’90, In August 2002, was promoted to Senior Estimator for Alexander Constructors, Inc., and relocated to State College, PA. Susan and I have one son Gabriel (1) and are expecting our second child in April 2003...Mark Gillespie, ’89, and wife Selena just delivered their third future Penn Stater! Mark is Vice President, Engineering & Operations for McKinney Properties, Inc, Pittsburgh, PA. Responsible for developing new real estate investments and maintain existing properties. The company has recently expanded into State College with ownership of Gateway Center and Calder Commons Apartments. Now there is always a reason/excuse to get back! |
