Since graduating in August, I
have established myself in Indianapolis, IN. I am here enjoying the 500 racing scene, more pigskin blue-and-white, all the corn I can eat, and working for a company called Moore Engineers. My first engineering project out here has been designing mechanical and fire protection systems for the new Indianapolis Colts NFL Stadium. I couldn't have asked for a better HVAC thrill of a kick-off project. And, I owe it all to my Penn State AE background, of course. I already have tons of crazy design stories of my own now--like the ones Dr. Messner used to tell on AE372 construction picture intermission. Since Dec. 12, I have been engaged to a wonderful Penn State mechanical engineering alum, a guy I have been with for a while and who I had been good friends with for several years beforehand. We have just moved into our first home out here on the outskirts of Indianapolis. Give us a couple of months to fully automate the thing, then come and visit! Hoping all is well with everyone in AE-land far and wide...Heather (Lucas) Tsatsarones ’98, In August 2004 I "retired" from engineering and project management.
