The 9th Annual PACE Research Seminar “Rebooting the Industry: Integrating the Players & the Process,” was held April 10-11, 2001 at the Toftrees Resort and Conference Center. Industry colleagues and Penn State faculty and students discussed new research and industry best practices in areas such as Project Delivery Education, Integrating Project Players, Improving Production Planning, Developing & Retaining People, and Technology in Construction. This year the program featured an exciting selection of industry and academic leaders. Featured speakers for the event were Jim Becker, President & CEO of Beacon-Skanska, and Boyd Paulson, Professor of Civil Engineering at Stanford. The PACE activities were topped off with the annual PACE Invitational Golf Outing. Participants included PACE members and Penn State faculty and students.
