Ms. Pennington graduated in the B.A.E. - M.A.E. Program.  During her academic career in Penn State AE, she was named to the Dean’s list every semester.  She is a Schreyer Honors College Scholar and an Evan Pugh Scholar.  She was a recipient of the James M. Pohlen Memorial Scholarship, chosen by her classmates “in recognition of strong character and exemplary achievement in Architectural Engineering.”

She is a member of the Phi Alpha Epsilon Architectural Engineering Honor Society and the Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society.  She was an active member in the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (SSAE).  She also participated in intramural football and volleyball as well as volunteering her services with Habitat for Humanity.
In addition to being named Student Marshal, she was awarded a Life Membership in the Penn State Alumni Association.
