Schedule a Visit (Directions to the AE Department & local hotels )
UNDERGRADUATE
There are several methods available to prospective students for scheduling a visit to Penn State and the Architectural Engineering Department. The Penn State Admissions Offices offers university tours for students and their families.
College of Engineering and the Architectural Engineering Department tours can be arranged through the college - https://www.engr.psu.edu/ProspectiveStudents/undergraduate/visitform.asp.
The College of Engineering will schedule the department visitation appointments. The 11:00 a.m. College of Engineering information session is scheduled for all visitors. In addition, an appointment with an AE faculty and/or student envoy can be requested. An appointment with an AE faculty is available on Monday and Friday, 10:00 a.m.or 11:00 a.m. The faculty appointment is followed by a short tour led by a student Envoy. Student Envoys are available Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday mornings and Monday through Friday at 1:30 p.m.

The ideal schedule for the campus visit is outlined below.

The AE Department also participates in the College of Engineering's Open House event each year. Interested students and their parents/families are given tours of the AE labs and facilities and the opportunity to speak to current students and see their work.
Additional Opportunities include:
- Major Night (during fall semester)
- Spend a Summer Day at University Park (summer semester)
