You've got questions. These web sites, email list servers, newsgroups and other
resources can help get you answers.
- AISC -- if you have a technical question about steel building design and construction,
check their Steel Solutions Center
and Library or email them at
solutions@aisc.org. If you choose the latter
option, response time is heavily dependent upon current back-log, so you may have to be
patient.
- Corrosion.com -- technical
assistance in the form of a question and answer forum. Also, they have list servers and
newsgroups.
- eGroups -- lots and lots of list servers, plus you
can start your own list server.
- Eng-Tips -- forums for discussion of engineering
subjects.
- IBC
Discussion List -- a list server for the International Building Code.
- SEAINT Listserver -- An engineering
list server from the Structural Engineers Association International (which is essentially
SEAOC under a different banner).
- Steel-Detail -- A steel detailer's list server
on the Steel-Link web site.
- Steel-Engineer -- A steel engineer's list
server on the Steel-Link web site.
- Steel-Fabricator -- A steel fabricator's list
server on the Steel-Link web site.
- Steel Interchange
-- A feature from AISC's Modern Steel Construction magazine.
- StrucTX -- An engineer's list server
like SEAINT, but from deep in the heart of Texas.
- Topica -- lots and lots of list servers; plus you
