Leeds University
Montague Burton Flats
During the semester you will be staying in Montague Burton self-catering flats. That means you will be responsible for preparing your own meals, and they are not included in the accommodation fee. Each flat has five bedrooms, one bathroom, and a shared kitchen. Every room is a single, and comes with a desk, night stand, wardrobe, bookshelf, sink, and mirror. The flats are now also equipped with an internet connection so lucky students with laptops will be able to access the internet from their rooms.

Parkinson Building
Parkinson building is like the Old Main of Leeds University. Here you will find a computer lab and the Brotherton Library. The first picture shows the main room of the library, and the second picture is the exterior of Parkinson.

Student Union
The student union is like the HUB with a few extras. At the union you can do anything from get a haircut to having a beer at the Old Bar, Stylus, or Bar Coda. The Old Bar is known as the longest bar in England. It is also one of the cheapest places to buy a pint. To find out more about what is going on at the union click here.
Civil Engineering Building
The Civil Engineering building will be your Sackett building while in Leeds. It is less than a 10 minutes walk from Montague Burton, and all of your classes will be held here. There is a computer lab and a CAD lab in this building that only civil and architectural engineers have access to. The building is locked at 5 pm, so if you leave you will not be able to get back in until the next day. To learn more about the Civil Engineering department at Leeds click here.
