User Note:

Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Anthony P. Dente. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.

Technical Assignment One
Tech One consists of an overview of the structural system followed by an analysis of the internal and external loads acting on the building. Following this inspection spot checks were preformed on various structural elements to test the results.

Technical Assignment Two

Tech Two analyzes four alternative structural systems that could be applied to the Centre Court Apartments.  Each system is sized, spot-checked, and then compared against one another and the existing structure as potential redesign options.

Technical Assignment Three

Tech Three consists of an extensive check of the existing lateral system.  The shear walls were modeled in ETABS to calculate the story drift and torsion effects from lateral loading.
