Technical Assignments

Technical Assignment #1

Technical Assignment #1 is an overview of the construction management process for Granby Tower. It consists of a summary schedule, cost evaluation, and a short description about the building systems. It also includes a look at the delivery method for the project and the staffing employed for the project.

Technical Assignment #2

Technical Assignment #2 is a detailed look at the cost and methods used for the Granby Tower project. This report consists of a detailed project schedule, a site plan for the superstucture of the building, and a few estimates. The estimates consist of an assemblies estimate, a structural systems estimate, and a general conditions estimate.

Technical Assignment #3

Technical Assignment #3 outlines the issues that I plan on researching in the spring. It includes issues discussed at the PACE Roundtable in October. From these topics I chose to research the labor shortages in the industry issue. An alternate structural system of steel will also be analyzed, as well as looking into ways to improve the MEP systems through value engineering.
