“Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work‐in‐progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Julia Phillips. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.”

AE 481W/482 Course Reflection & CPEP& Discussion Board Reflection

AE 481/482 (Senior Thesis) is an intensive study that requires students to interact with both industry professionals and project teams. The experience gained from completing such a study is invaluable and I believe gives a solid base for graduating seniors. The completion of Senior Thesis provides an adequate background of knowledge that allows students to succeed in the engineering industry.

The CPEP website was a great way to allow me to share my hard work with family, friends and industry members.  I think that it is a great addition to the course.  The discussion board was a great way to get answers to difficult questions quickly.
