student bio...

Lori is currently completing her fifth year at The Pennsylvania State University, majoring, in the Architectural Engineering program, emphasizing on the Construction Management option. With the intent of graduating in May of 2008, Lori will receive her Bachelor of AE and pursue a career in project management.


This past summer, Lori accepted the opportunity to intern with ISEC, Inc., a specialty contracting firm, in Columbia, Maryland. Here, she was able to implement her studies and, more importantly, gain experience and knowledge in the field of construction. Lori worked on the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Business and Engineering project in Richmond, Virginia, which was later approved for her Senior Thesis Project.


When she is not busy with her studies, Lori loves spending time with her friends and family, going to the gym, reading, horseback riding and being outdoors. The Capstone Project Electronic Portfolio (CPEP) is a web‐based project and information center. It contains material produced for a year‐long Senior Thesis class. Its purpose, in addition to providing central storage of individual assignments, is to foster communication and collaboration between student, faculty consultant, course instructors, and industry consultants. This website is dedicated to the research and analysis conducted via guidelines provided by the Department of Architectural Engineering.
