Thesis Abstract

Located at 301 Hospital Drive, the Women’s Center and Inpatient Tower is one of two new additions being built at the Baltimore Washington Medical Center in Glen Burnie, Maryland. The new Tower will sit behind the main parking garage, adjacent to the existing six-story hospital. The new Women's Center and Inpatient Tower will include patient rooms, exam rooms, diagnostic testing rooms, c-section and labor rooms, infusion rooms, and sleep rooms. The Women's Center will provide outpatient services such as women check-ups and prenatal care along with parenting education.

Please see my thesis abstract for more details on the building's architecture and systems. Thesis Abstract
