While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work-in-progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Nasser Marafi. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.

Reflection

AE 481W/482 Course Reflection
The senior thesis is a valuable learning experience in the Architectural Engineering Program at Penn State. It helps tie up all the engineering knowledge gained through the 5 year program, and incorporates it in a similar scenario to the professional partitioning engineer. Analytical and design skills were heavily emphasized during the thesis study whilst communicative skills when presenting the thesis outcomes have also been accomplished. Overall this has been a wonderful experience and will certainly give a great start to my career.

CPEP & Discussion Board Reflection
The electronic portfolio has provided an excellent accessibility of our thesis outcomes to the people who have shown great interest.  I constantly reference the electronic portfolio when speaking about my thesis project, and appreciate the AE staff and faculty for providing us with this feature. I definitely plan on referring back my portfolio in the future bringing back valuable memories.
The discussion board has provided us with ease of communication to the practicing professional engineers. Their input on our thesis has guided us to the most up to date path. I appreciate their help and hope one day to be in there position helping the future students of Penn State.
