Rachel Gingerich is currently in her fifth year of studies in Architectural Engineering at Penn State. She will graduate in December 2008 with an integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree and is specializing in the structural option.  In April of 2007, she passed her Fundamentals of Engineering Exam and intends on pursuing Professional Engineer licensure at the soonest possible date.

Rachel has also had the benefit of having had several internship experiences, the most notable as a design intern for Baker, Ingram & Associates in Lancaster, PA, where she used her coursework knowledge and applied it to the structural design and analysis of projects, such as schools, banks, and churches.  She also spent a semester during her fourth year in a study abroad exchange program at the University of Leeds, in Leeds, England, and she regards this as one of her most rewarding experiences.
