Will Cox's Biography

 

 

Will Cox is currently in his 5th year of study in the Architectural Engineering Program at the Pennsylvania State University. His primary focus is on the Construction Management option of the curriculum. Will expects to graduate in December 2008 with both a Bachelor’s and a Master’s Degree in Architectural Engineering.

For the past three years, Will has held an internship in the construction industry working over both his summer and winter breaks in the Washington, D.C. area. He has worked with James G. Davis Construction and MBP Construction Engineering gaining both contracting and consulting experience on and off site. These internships have further increased his knowledge of the industry and have proven to be very valuable in his studies.

While at Penn State, Will has also been very active with several different organizations and has had leadership responsibility in many of them. His activitiesinclude THON Chair for the Engineering Undergraduate Council, Class representative for the Student Society of Architectural Engineers (also known as Penn State AEI), and most recently a Communications Captain for the Penn State IFC/Panhellenic Dance Marathon.  Will has also been an active member of the student chapter of the Partnership for Achieving Construction Excellence (PACE), Penn State Men’s Rugby Football Club, and Habitat for Humanity.
