FINAL REPORT

The final report is an in-depth technical piece on the work performed over the course of the semester.

For the depth studies, two existing mechanical systems were evaluated for the Sinai Hospital South Tower Vertical Expansion. Alternatives were subsequently proposed to improve each system, and the economics and emissions of the existing designs and redesigns were compared and contrasted. In addition, breadth studies were performed to evaluate both redesigns' impact on structural and architectural elements.

Key issues such as design considerations, methods used, and system modifications are explained in the report. Calculations, conclusions, and recommendations are also provided. The report can be downloaded in full or by section below.
