Technical Assignments:
Technical Assignment 1
Technical Assignment 1 is a check and analysis of ASHRAE Standard 62.1 and 90.1for the Montgomery College New Science Center Design.
ASHRAE Standard 62.1 establishes the minimum requirements for outside ventilation air in building and was therefore calculated and assed for the Montgomery College New Science Center in order to ensure the safety of the occupants.
ASHRAE Standard 90.1 establishes the minimum requirements for energy performance. The building envelope, HVAC system, service water heating, power, lighting, and electric motor efficiency were evaluated for Technical Report 1 through this standard.
Technical Assignment 2
For Techincal Assignement 2 the Montgomery College New Science Center was modeled using the energy modeling software IES VE. The model was then used to analysis the energy use, loads, operating cost, and emission.
Technical Assignment 3
The Technical Assignment 3 reviews the conditions needed to begin the design process, loads and energy for the designed building, and performance evaluations of the mechanical system, emissions, and LEED credits achieved.
