Thesis
I thought that the thesis program was a good way to introduce students to the kind of work they will be involved with after graduation. We were expected to think and act like professionals, although we still had the benefit of a safety net in our professors to fall back upon. I thought it was a good experience. I started to learn what kind of things I will need to know how to do when I start working. I also thought it was a good way to promote independent activity. In the real world we will need to motivate ourselves. Will we had to fill out progress reports througout the semester, there was no one constantly telling us to finish our work. We had to set out our goals and complete them. I learned how important it is to have a schedule and stick to it in when completing large projects.
CPEP
On one hand I liked the CPEP page as it was a way for me to keep all of my work in one place that can be accessed anywhere. On the other hand, I felt like it was one extra thing that was taking time out of my schedule time for my thesis work. I would have liked to have spent a lot more time making my page more attractive. I think it may have been a good idea to start work on my page over the summer before thesis, so by the time the fall came around the page was up and fully functional. This way I could have still focused on my thesis and have a more attractive page.

Note: While great efforts have been taken to provide accurate and complete information on the pages of CPEP, please be aware that the information contained herewith is considered a work‐in‐progress for this thesis project. Modifications and changes related to the original building designs and construction methodologies for this senior thesis project are solely the interpretation of Dave Klug. Changes and discrepancies in no way imply that the original design contained errors or was flawed. Differing assumptions, code references, requirements, and methodologies have been incorporated into this thesis project; therefore, investigation results may vary from the original design.
