Technical Report I (PDF)

Technical Report I reviews the requirements of ASHRAE Standards 62.1 and 90.1 and summarizes the Alumni Center's compliance/non-compliance with each standard.

Technical Report II (PDF)

Technical Report II details the results of a heating and cooling load estimation as well as an energy consumption analysis of the building. Results of the load estimation are compared with the equipment that was chosen for the design. The results of the energy consumption analysis are compared to building energy usage statistics from the ASHRAE Handbook of HVAC Applications as well as given an Energy Performance Rating from Energy Star's Target Finder program.

Technical Report III (PDF)

Technical Report III provides information on the existing conditions of the West Virginia Alumni Center. Information includes equipment summary/schematic drawings, ventilation rates, heating and cooling loads, annual energy use, first cost, LEED-NC analysis and an overall system evaluation.
