About Kevin Hsia

Kevin Hsia is currently a 5th Year Architectural Engineering student at Penn State University. Specialized in lighting/electrical design, he will graduate with an Integrated Bachelor/Master of Architectural Engineering degree as well obtain a minor in Architecture Studies.

For the past three summers, Kevin has interned as a lighting designer at Hellmuth, Obata, + Kassbaum, Office for Visual Interaction, and Horton Lees Brogden. These internship experiences have taught him to appreciate the work involved in architecture design and construction. In the long term, he looks forward to work as a lighting designer for a consulting or AE firm and is interested in pursuing the LEED Certification.

Kevin actively participates outside of academics. Kevin is involved in both professional and student organizations such as the Architectural Engineering Institute, Illuminating Engineering Society, Taiwanese American Student Association, Penn State Solar Decathlon Project, and Intramural Soccer.
